My Method

Each brain is just as unique as a fingerprint; and each brain develops, is shaped by by every imprint. Therefore each mind arising from that brain remains flexible, changeable until the last oxygen molecule flows through its vains. Each mind is also uniquely different and remains changable through life. Some minds, however, are more easily changable to flow with the rapidly changing requirements of our environment than others. It is easy for people to get entangled in this way..

Unfortunately taking the step towards a psychologist gets more and more difficult !!
The longer you wait to actually go to therapy, the higher your doorstep seems to rise, feelings of shame, the fear to share, to not be understood. In the Netherlands nowadays there is also the burden of bureaucracy: You need the reference of your housedoctor; your visit will be registrated  in your medical file; A specific diagnosis is required to be given that specific therapy you need ; lengthy questionnaires and (standard) protocol therapies sometimes make you feel like a number, not like a person. More and more people are not getting proper counseling or therapy because they do not fit in the appropriate box. More and more people feel like they are falling in a deep hole they are not able to crawl out of..

Therefor I lower my doorstep for you!

  • Referral from the GP is optional but not necessary: ​​you can make an appointment right away
  • Registration in the medical file is optional, but not required: If you don’t want a registration, we will keep your visits private
  • No box mentality, even the DSM-5 diagnosis is optional. Making a treatmentplan requires more information for me than just the DSM5 symptoms, my analysis is much broader and deeper than that.
  • Questionnaires are optional. Questionnaires give a fast overview of how much certain things trouble you in respect to others. They are absolutely not a requirement for me, if you don’tt feel like it.
  • My story is not just from my schoolbooks but firmly supported by both life experience and the necessary qualifications
  • I don’t like standard protocol therapy, but prefer to create a specifically designed treatment for you based on evidencebased therapy elements best fitted with your character (pace and lifestyle)
  • No time pressure, but a real person who really listen to you, understand and know what you’re talking about
